Subdomains and Google's Page Ranking?
Google's very basic algorithm states that each link from a web page to another web page counts as a vote for that page. Whenever one searches for a specific search term, the appropriate votes are counted and the results are shown.

There are some articles that say Google puts a lot weight on subdomains. This blog entry wants to test this out. Let's choose three phrases. The first one is "Big Bling". The second phrase is a make believe nonsense one "gdiggler". The last is word "google" but with a typo "googl3". These phrases point to subdomains at ThinkBling.com.

The purpose is to see if these links, from Think Bling can get into Google's, or any other Search Engine Results Pages (SERPS).

This is not a scientific experiment, but perhaps can still show a little insight into how to promote a website.
