Sandbox Effect?

Some out there believe that search engines have what they call a "Sandbox Effect". The Sandbox is basically the place that new pages and websites go when they are first cached by the search engine. Search engines may view new content temporarily as more important content.

This topic is brought up because looking at the search results for big bling we saw them at 50 the other day and now it is at 122. Intersting enough if search for "Big big" in quotes it has rissen to 18.

Was the 50 then 122 result change showing us the sandbox effect?
